Warhammer Age of Sigmar is a fantasy-themed miniature game produced by Games Workshop based in the popular Warhammer universe. Set in the third great age of the Mortal Realms, eight planes of reality where magic is abundant in the cosmos, none live here who have not felt the touch of battle and blood. They seek to bring about the Everdank, an era perpetual twilight of moistened befoulment that would see the the Gloomspite Gitz conquer the surface worlds in Gorkamorka's name. Riding into battle atop savage wolves this army set consists of cavalry and chariots focused on speed and manoeuvrability. The Stormcasts Eternals are back and this time they have called in the Calvary.  A deafening roar and a thunderclap announces the charge of the Dracothian Guard as they descend from the Heavens to smite the enemies of Sigmar. They are his heavy cavalry, appearing as an armoured spearhead to drive a wedge into the heart of the enemy battle lines and Sigmar's answer to dealing with mass enemy ranks and colossal monsters such as Bloodthirster's and Greater Daemons. Clad in polished sigmarite and riding upon the backs of scaled ferocious Dracoths, once they begin their thunderous stampede, there are very few who would survive it.        The Dracothian Guard represent the spiritual union between Sigma and the great stellar being Dracothion, combining the Stormcast Eternals with Dracothion's fierce offspring. The first Stormcasts to fall in the invasion of the Mortal Realms are again re-forged and renewed with new power from Dracothion as they exit the Extremis Chambers as Sigmar's new elite warriors.  Riding into the fray in waves are the various Dracothian Units, each armed with unique weapons to perform specific roles to make their advance unstoppable. First in the line are the Fulminators armed with stormstrike glaives, casting a bow-wave of celestial energy before them. Followed by the Tempestors, who rain down a hail of fire from their heavy vollystorm crossbows. These salvo are followed up by the wave of Concussors and their lightning hammers, smashing a hole in the enemy lines and creating a gap that the Desolators charge through, slicing apart any survivors with their thunderaxes.  This epic box set includes two highly detailed plastic Dracothian Guard on Dracoths. Providing two weapons of each style in the box so you are able to build any two from the four units mentioned earlier. Gloomspite Gitz are a faction made up of a combination of Moonclan Grots, Spiderfang Grots, Troggoths and Gargants. To most other races all grots look the same thanks to their small stature, green skin and vicious nature. No matter how foul their temperament is there are some differences between them. Moonclan Grots are a type of deranged Grots that dwell in the subterranean regions of the Mortal Realms and pray to Gorkamorka and the Bad Moon. They brew poisons from fungus and breed wild Squigs, gaining endless amusement from these strange creatures going wild, bouncing and eating anything they can get their maws on. They wear filthy rags and invade the kingdoms and keeps of both Chaos and Order, making giant bonfires to dance around in the moonlight before returning to their caves at dawn. They hide from the hateful light of the day holding it in spite and contempt. Spiderfang Grots are a type of Grots that have been driven mad on a diet of poisonous arachnids and worship the Spider-god, an aspect of Gorkamorka. They inhabit web-choked lairs within the wilds and ruins of kingdoms they have destroyed. When a tribe is provoked these Grots go to their bone-filled pit full of offerings and summon the living incarnations of their deity, the deadly Arachnarok spiders. Don't let their small size fool you the Gloomspite Gitz are not a foe to be taken lightly!
